Should parents who have been convicted of child abuse be allowed to have or adopt more children?

Story Behind My Topic
Everyday many children get mentally, emotionally, and physically abused. Sometimes those children go back to the parents; if the parent is convicted of abuse they sometimes try to have more children or maybe even adopt children. That is not fair to the children and the government needs to do something about it. Of course there is always a chance that they might not abuse them, but there is also always a chance that they might go back and do the same thing they have been doing. When they abuse those children they are scarring them for life. The parents or guardians that do this to these children should not be given a second chance and should never be able to adopt children or have children of their own.

This is so true! I agree with you fully. I think that the government does need to do something and take action to help this innocent kids. Why should adults take away these kids' precious youth and childhood. I don't think anyone would want to have childhood memories of being beaten or hurt in many ways, so good job!:D
ReplyDeleteI agree as well. People who abuse children shouldn't be allowed around other children because of the chance that they might abuse that child. I also agree with Kelly;the government needs to take some form of action. I think this is a great topic to research and I would appreciate if you kept me updated!!:)
